WHAT IS ICP?

The Independent Content Providers Association empowers creators of independent media by providing resources, publicity and partnerships within its membership pool. On May 31, 2013, ICP will launch its new website, along with a new and improved suite of promotional services developed specifically to aide and promote independent media creators. Cost of membership will have a slight increase, yet still very affordable at only $25 per year. Membership applications and renewals will continue along with the new website and services on May 31, 2013. Current members unable to renew at this time are automatically granted extension of membership through July 15, 2013. At which time, renewal fees will again be due.

Current and future members are encouraged to display the ICP badge on their website and all media in order to raise awareness and improve the quality standards of the independent content provider.

HOW ICP WORKS
Independent content providers and service providers typically fall into one of three categories:
Content Provider - Provides independently created media in audio, video, artistic or written media formats.
Content Delivery Platform - Provides a means of storage and/or delivery for independent content. (ie: Stitcher Radio)
Service Provider - Provides some form of service that enables the creation and/or delivery of independent content and its media. (ie: hosting, applications, tools, plugin's, etc...)

ICP provides a centralized location for all ICP content providers, delivery platforms and service providers. Tools, instruction and additional services that promote independent media will soon be made available to our members.

WHAT ARE ICP RATINGS?
ICP will soon provide a universally-accepted rating system by which all independent media can be rated, assuring a safe environment to listeners of all ages.
